The Amozone rainforest , also called Amozone jungle or Amazonia,is a moist boardleaf tropical rainforest biome.that covers most of the Amazone basin of South America .This basin encompasses.70,000,000 Km2 of whitch 5,500,000Km2 are coverd by the rainforest. this region includes territory belonging to nine nations and 3.344 formally anknow ledged indigerous territory.

The majority of the forest ,60% is in Brazil ,followed by Peru with 13%in Colombia with 10% and with minor amouts in Bolivia,Ecuador,French,Gulana ,Guyana,Suriname and Venizuela. four nations have 'Amazonac' as the name of their first-level administrative regions ,and France usees the Guiana's protected rainforest area.The amazone represents over half of Earth's remaining rainforest ,and comprieses the largest and most biodivercse tract of tropical rainforest in the world ,with an estimated 390 billion idividual trees in about 16,000 species.

More that 30 million people of 350 differents ethmic gruops live in the Amazone ,whitch are subdivided into 9 different national systems and 3,344 formally acknowledged indigenous territories.indigenous people make up 9% of the totel population ,and 60 of the gruops remain largerly isolaed .
